The only good thing I can say about this girdle is backhanded: it's not as bad as a Spanx "shaper," but that ain't saying much! I 'm only 148 lbs and 5'7" so there's not that much girth to rearrange and though this thing squeezed like a vice grip (absolute torture!!) there was still a bulge in the tummy area--in fact, there was a MORE pronounced bulge than if I didn't have the thing on! And worst of all, the top band rolled down at the slightest provaction, which included reaching for a glass above the kitchen counter, or bending over to tie my shoes--I kid you not! I suppose it would work if you were super slim, but then why would you need it?!
